Abstract

One of the main objectives of this thesis is to combine the steps of formal description and generation of workloads in a single unified load generation approach (which is called UniLoG approach in the following). In order to achieve this goal, a Formal Description Technique (FDT) we are looking for has to fulfil the requirements specified by the four steps of the UniLoG approach (cf. Sec. 2.3).
