Zusammenfassung

2016 spaltete Philips den Unternehmensbereich „Lighting“ ab und brachte ihn an die Börse: Das Unternehmen verabschiedete sich von dem Geschäftsfeld, aus dem der Konzern einst hervorgegangen ist. Royal Philips steht künftig für Produkte und Services für das Gesundheitswesen und für das persönliche Wohlbefinden. Ein zentraler Baustein der Strategie ist Philips Führungsrolle in der digitalen Transformation des Gesundheitsmarktes mit einer zentralen, offenen technischen Plattform, durch die Philips zum Enabler und Koordinator vernetzter Ökosysteme aus Hardware, Daten und Dienstleistern wird.
