Zusammenfassung

Philanthropische Handlungen stellen private freiwillige Handlungen für einen gemeinnützigen Zweck dar, i.a. in Form von Sachspenden, finanziellen Spenden und zeitlichem freiwilligem Engagement (Sulek 2010). Wenngleich der Nutzen für Dritte bzw. die Steigerung des Wohlergehens im Vergleich zum Eigennutz meist überwiegt, so ist eine philanthropische Handlung grundsätzlich nicht gänzlich „erwartungsfrei“.
