Zusammenfassung

Der Dritte Sektor beschäftigt rund sieben Prozent der erwerbstätigen Schweizerinnen und Schweizer (Helmig et al. 2011). Internationale Arbeitsmarktentwicklungen unterstreichen die zunehmende volkswirtschaftliche Relevanz des Nonprofit-Sektors als Arbeitgeber (Clark et al. 2011; Roeger et al. 2012) und halten die sektorspezifische Managementliteratur dazu an, die Effekte der Sachzieldominanz nicht nur in Bezug auf das Freiwilligen- und Ehrenamtsmanagement, sondern auch in Bezug auf bezahlte Arbeit zu untersuchen, wesensbestimmende Merkmale dieser Arbeit zu identifizieren, was schließlich potenzielle Anpassungen in den sektorspezifischen Anreiz- und Führungssystemen ermöglicht.
