Zusammenfassung
Emotionen nehmen tiefgreifenden Einfl uss auf menschliches Denken und Handeln. Sie steuern unsere Aufmerksamkeit, formen unsere Motivation, beeinfl ussen Speicherung und Abruf von Information aus dem Gedächtnis und befördern oder reduzieren Selbstregulation und den Einsatz von Problemlösestrategien. Dies hat zur Folge, dass sie auch für Lernen und Leistung im Bildungskontext zentrale Stellgrößen darstellen. In diesem Beitrag wird die vorliegende Forschung zu den Wirkungen von Emotionen auf Lernprozesse und Lernleistungen bei Schülern und Studierenden zusammenfassend diskutiert. Eingegangen wird auf positive Emotionen (z.B. Lernfreude, Hoffnung und Leistungsstolz) ebenso wie auf negative Emotionen im Lern- und Leistungskontext (wie Prüfungsangst, Ärger, Scham, Langeweile und Hoffnungslosigkeit). Diskutiert werden auch Rückwirkungen von Lernleistungen auf die Emotionsgenese und daraus folgende Wechselwirkungen von Emotions- und Leistungsentwicklung. Abschließend wird auf Folgerungen für die pädagogische Praxis eingegangen.
