Zusammenfassung
Die sich ändernden Rahmenbedingungen durch neue Technologien und Softwarelösungen erhöhen den Wettbewerbsdruck in vielen Branchen. Um langfristig bestehen zu können, sind Innovationen notwendig. Dazu werden flexible Vorgehensweisen und Organisationen benötigt, welche aber auch mit bestehenden Strukturen und Abläufen von Großunternehmen kompatibel sind. Die bimodale IT bietet einen Ansatz, diese diametralen Ansprüche gleichermaßen zu befriedigen. Anhand eines Praxisbeispiels wird die Implementierung einer bimodalen IT kritisch betrachtet und mit Experten von Drittunternehmen validiert, um konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen abzugeben. Die Etablierung der bimodalen IT in einem Großunternehmen erfordert eine Transformation der Organisation und der Arbeitsweisen. Für diese komplexe Transformation wurden sechs Erfolgsfaktoren identifiziert.
