Zusammenfassung
Kindheit wird als ein Konzept vorgestellt das normativ in (post)modernen Gesellschaften verankert ist. Mittels Bezug auf selbstreflexive Theorieansätze diskutiert der Beitrag inwiefern ein spezifisches normatives Bild vom Kind als lernendes, schutzbedürftiges und sich entwickelndes Individuum jenem Kind gerecht werden kann, das als Gesellschaftsmitglied in Verhältnissen sozialer Ungleichheit und in asymmetrischen wie auch interdependenten Beziehungen eingebettet ist. Im Beitrag werden Erfahrungen und Wechselbeziehungen zwischen Kindern und Erwachsenen analysiert, die auf Gemeinsamkeiten hinweisen, die nicht vorrangig aus dem generationalen Verhältnis erklärt werden können. Der Beitrag plädiert für eine stärkere Berücksichtigung von Kontext, um Kindheit analytisch verstehen zu können.
