Zusammenfassung
Als stolzer Gewinner des Direktmandats des Wahlkreises Rheingau-Taunus I wagte Franz Josef Jung mit 34 Jahren den Sprung in die Landespolitik, die er bis 2005 als CDU-Abgeordneter im hessischen Landtag mit prägen sollte. Hier war er von 1987 bis 1999 Parlamentarischer Geschäftsführer der CDU-Fraktion und von 1987 bis 1991 CDU-Generalsekretär.
