Die Sinne werden zwar häufig isoliert untersucht, aber in der Regel wirken sie zusammen. In Kap. 11 schildern wir einige Beispiele für inter-modale Integration und Interaktion, wie die räumliche Orientierung oder das Schmecken. Wir erörtern außerdem unterschiedliche Prinzipien, nach denen die Sinne miteinander interagieren (wie inter-modale Interferenz oder modale Dominanz).
