Abstract

All interview partners featured in the film (villagers as well as urban inhabitants) were initially contacted through sociologist Mr. Tassére Derra. The field of research was only accessible through personal contact to Mr. Derra, who was born in Burkina Faso and whose native language is Mooré. Belonging to the ethnic group of the Mossi and having focused his studies on sociology, Mr. Derra knew how to address possible interviewees.
