Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag widmet sich dem Arbeitsprozess eines Filmkomponisten sowie den Methoden, durch die Musik und Bild miteinander synchronisiert werden (click tracks, streamers und punches). Er behandelt u. a. die besonderen Anforderungen, die an den Komponisten während der Pre- und Post-Production gestellt werden, die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Regisseur, der Gebrauch von Mock-Ups und Temp Tracks, die Beziehung zwischen Komponist und Orchestrator und das Modell Teamkomposition, das nach wie vor besonders in Hollywood verbreitet ist. Abschließend widmet sich der Beitrag Kompositionsprinzipien von Filmmusik am Beispiel modularer Strukturen.
