The aim of this thesis was to develop office rent indices for the major office property markets that take into account the heterogeneity of office leases and thus are considered constant quality indices or hedonic indices (HORIX).
The primary motive for undertaking this thesis was the fact that although German and foreign investors have been interested in the German property market and, specifically, the office property market in the recent past, the market still lacks proper office rent indices based on a robust and scientific methodology.
