Zusammenfassung
Das Verbundprojekt ist als Aktionsforschungsprojekt angelegt. Aktionsforschung ist keine ausschließlich auf die Überprüfung bzw. Gewinnung theoretischer Erkenntnisse zielende Forschung, sondern sie orientiert sich bei der Problemwahl und der Problemlösung an konkreten gesellschaftlichen Bedürfnissen und bemüht sich gleichzeitig, wissenschaftliche Grundlagen für die Veränderung sozialer Situationen zu liefern. Sie basiert u. a. auf der Annahme, dass die Untersuchung sozialer Systeme eine spezifische, den besonderen Eigenarten dieser Systeme angemessene Vorgehensweise erfordert (Frank 1998).
