Zusammenfassung

Die international-vergleichende Erforschung von Fragestellungen im Feld der Erwachsenenbildung/ Weiterbildung hat in den letzten Jahren zugenommen (Egetenmeyer 2014). Beobachtbar sind nicht nur Studien aus dem disziplinären Kontext der Erwachsenenbildung/Weiterbildung, sondern auch bildungspolitisch motivierte Studien – insbesondere im Kontext von Europäischer Union (EU) und Organisation für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (OECD) – sowie Erhebungen, die in benachbarten Disziplinen der Erziehungswissenschaft durchgeführt werden, wie beispielsweise der Soziologie.
