Die britische Verfassung lässt sich nicht in einem einzigen Verfassungsdokument nachlesen. Sie wird deshalb häufig als „ungeschriebene“ bezeichnet. Das heißt aber nicht, dass es keine schriftlichen Quellen des Verfassungsrechts gibt.
