Zusammenfassung
Mit Blick auf die derzeitigen Bemühungen der Vereinten Nationen, globale Entwicklungsziele für den Zeitraum zwischen 2015 und 2030 zu formulieren, liegt es nahe, auch Potenziale des Pfadfindertums für diesen Prozess zu untersuchen. Als Schnittstelle hierfür eignet sich die Bildung als Leitbegriff sowohl der Pfadfinderpädagogik als auch der internationalen Entwicklungspolitik. Einführend soll zunächst die Bedeutung von Bildung in der Pfadfinderbewegung dokumentiert und systematisch umrissen werden. Ergänzt um eine Synopse zu Entwicklung und Stand der Bildungsbemühungen im internationalen Kontext wird schließlich der Versuch einer integrierenden Zusammenschau beider Themenkreise unternommen.
