Zusammenfassung
Das folgende Kapitel wendet sich dem Konzept und der Erklärung von Konflikt und Eskalation im Lichte des in Kapitel 3 ausgeführten theoretischen Rahmens zu. Hierzu wird in 4.1. zunächst ein dementsprechender systemtheoretischer Konfliktbegriff entwickelt. Hierauf aufbauend erarbeiten wir in Hauptabschnitt 4.2. ein metabolisches Erklärungsmodell der Intensität innerstaatlicher Konflikte.
