Zusammenfassung

Die Analyse der Folgen der Eurokrise beruht auf zwei Unterscheidungen: um einen zwischen Geld und Währungen und zum anderen zwischen institutionellem Konfliktrahmen und sozialen Konflikten. Im ersten Schritt zeige ich, dass die Abschaffung des Wechselkursmechanismus EU-weite Kooperations- und Konfliktbeziehungen verdichtet. Im zweiten Schritt argumentiere ich, dass durch die Eurokrise sowohl die Institutionenbildung vorangetrieben hat, als auch eine komplexe Konfliktkonstellation entstehen ließ. Die Konflikte wirken eher gesellschaftsbildend, da sie die Institutionen, welche den Konfliktrahmen bilden, kaum angreifen können.
