Zusammenfassung
Innovative dienstleistungsbasierte Geschäftsmodelle werden im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe allgemein, darunter auch dem Werkzeugmaschinenbau, zunehmend wichtiger. Eine neue Form dieser Geschäftsmodelle stellen sogenannte Flexibilitätsgarantien dar. Diese flexibilitätsorientierten Dienstleistungen beinhalten die Planung und den Bau eines Fertigungssystems mit einem Fokus auf der zukünftigen Flexibilität der Anlage. Der Anbieter garantiert dabei eine Anpassung der verkauften Werkzeugmaschine an zukünftige Produktionsanforderungen zu bereits vorab festgelegten Konditionen. Simulationen mit einem eigens entwickelten Softwaretool zur Entscheidungsbaummodellierung prognostizieren eine Win-win-Situation für dieses neue Geschäftsmodell, in der sowohl für den Hersteller als auch für den Kunden der Nutzen überwiegt. Das Zustandekommen hängt dabei von der gewählten Preispolitik, der Wiederverwendbarkeit (Maschinenrestwert) und einer gerechten Risikoverteilung zwischen Maschinenbauer und Kunde ab.
