Abstract
Soziales Unternehmertum hat in den vergangenen Jahren in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz viel Anklang gefunden. Trotz oder gerade wegen seiner unscharfen begrifflichen Konturen erscheint es als vielversprechender Ansatz, neue Lösungen für (zivil-)gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen zu finden. Unter Rekurs auf aktuelle Praxis und Literatur geben die Autoren des Beitrags einen knappen Überblick über das Themenfeld und seine Akteure und wagen einen Blick nach vorne. Sie stellen drei mögliche Definitionsgruppen zur Diskussion, die besonders häufig als soziale Unternehmer gehandelt werden, aber über unterschiedliche Eigenschaften und Bedürfnisse verfügen. Zudem werden Akteure des sogenannten Social Entrepreneurship Ökosystems vorgestellt, die sich der Unterstützung von Sozialunternehmern verschrieben haben und mit unterschiedlichen Ressourcen die Entwicklung des Feldes mitprägen. Abschließend werden die Bedeutung der involvierten Akteure sowie die Wirkungen und gegebenenfalls unerwünschte Nebenwirkungen ihres Handelns im Social Entrepreneurship Diskurs diskutiert.
