Abstract
To find answers to the research questions of this thesis, the author applied a structured research approach, which will be detailed in this chapter. In accordance with the research questions and in response to the lack of empirical theory in this field, a theory-extending and theory-building approach is central to this thesis (Kerssens-van Drongelen 2001, p.503).
