Zusammenfassung

Sigmund Freud wies einmal darauf hin, dass die Erforschung des Pathologischen auch Erkenntnisse für Gesunde bringen könne, und er betonte die fließenden Übergänge. Auch Hochbegabte sind nicht nur für sich genommen interessant zu erforschen. Das Wissen über besonders ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten hilft dabei, die Entwicklung von Fähigkeiten bei normalbegabten Menschen zu verstehen.
