Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag arbeitet einer kurzen Kritik des Konzepts der multiplen Modernen folgend den entwicklungstheoretischen Beitrag der Debatte um die verwobene Moderne heraus. Die Stärke des Ansatzes besteht darin, Entwicklung als einen verwobenen, inter- und transnationalen Prozess zu verstehen, der von asymmetrischen Machtbeziehungen und kolonialer sowie imperalistischer Gewalt geprägt ist.
