Functional Group: Strategic Decision Making

Abstract

In the present chapter, we turn our attention to a detailed description of the following five processes that belong to the STRATEGIC DECISION MAKING functional group:

– P01 - IT Strategy

– P02 - HR Management

– P03 - IT Standards & Architecture

– P04 - Financial Management

– P05 - Quality Management

Owing to various process dependencies, it will also be necessary in this context to consider the following four processes:

– P06 - IT Project Portfolio Management

– P07 - Capacity and Availability Management

– P09 - Service Management

– P15 - Supplier Management

The relationships between these latter four processes and those mentioned above will be examined at the end of the chapter.
