Abstract
This master thesis addresses the research question as to what extent social capital contributes to the development of corporate flexibility in the born transnational firm. At last, based on the findings of a conceptual analysis and qualitative empirical evidence, this master thesis concludes that social capital positively affects six underlying mechanisms regarding the development of corporate flexibility in the born transnational firm.
