Zusammenfassung
Reversi wurde in den 1880er Jahren in England entwickelt. In Japan wurde 1971 das Spiel als Othello angemeldet. Dort wird es heute von etwa 25 Mio. Menschen gespielt. Im Unterschied zu Reversi werden bei Othello die ersten vier Steine als Eröffnung festgelegt. Zudem gibt es keine feste Begrenzung der Zahl der Spielsteine.
