Vor allem intraabdominale Eingriffe erfordern eine sichere und stabile Lagerung der Tiere auf dem Rücken. Dies ist ohne einen geeigneten Operationstisch nicht möglich. Gleichzeitig ist zu gewährleisten, dass die Respiration auch während des Eingriffes sicher gestellt ist.
