Zusammenfassung
Die Auswirkungen globaler Phänomene wie Klimawandel, demographischer Wandel, Strukturwandel der Wirtschaft, Verlust natürlicher Ressourcen und anhaltende Verstädterung stellen die Raumplanung und damit auch das Landschaftsmanagement vor neue Herausforderungen und Aufgaben (Mäding u. Fürst 2011). Dabei zeigen sich die Folgen des globalen Wandels primär auf regionaler und lokaler Ebene, d. h. in den Landschaften Europas, wo sie einen Landschaftswandel in großem Umfang und hohem Tempo verursachen (Kienast et al. 2007).
