Kennen Sie diese Menschen, die einfach alles als selbstverständlich hinnehmen und sich für rein gar nichts bedanken? Vielleicht ist es Ihnen auch schon einmal vorgekommen, dass Sie so jemand um einen großen Gefallen bittet und sehr kurzfristig Ihre Hilfe braucht. Besonders prädestiniert für solche Bitten sind große Projekte, für die ein Kollege am Montagmorgen einen „ganz wichtigen Abgabetermin“ hat, den er auf gar keinen Fall verpassen darf. Er bittet Sie daraufhin um Ihre dringende Mithilfe. Sie selbst haben mehr als genug zu tun und für das Wochenende hatten Sie einen entspannten Ausflug mit Freunden geplant. Doch Ihr Kollege drängt Sie so sehr, dass Sie am Ende nachgeben und versprechen zu helfen. Sie haben dabei immer im Hinterkopf, dass Sie früher oder später in derselben Situation stecken und die Hilfe Ihres Kollegen benötigen könnten. Also schieben Sie all die Arbeit beiseite, die Sie am heutigen Montag noch erledigen wollten, und widmen sich dem Projekt Ihres Kollegen.
