Zusammenfassung
Im Zusammenhang mit früheren Mitteilungen über pharmakologische und erste klinische Erfahrungen mit dem Phencyclidinderivat Ketamine (CI-581) [1, 2] haben wir vorgeschlagen, die von dieser Droge verursachte Narkose „dissoziative“ Anaesthesie zu nennen. Auf Grund kürzlich durchgeführter elektroencephalographischer Untersuchungen im Hirn der Katze sind wir jetzt in der Lage, den experimentellen Beweis dafür zu führen, daß die Bezeichnung „dissoziative“ Anaesthesie bei der Ketamine Narkose tatsächlich berechtigt erscheint.
