Zusammenfassung

Der Ausdruck „ Koma“ definiert Bewußtlosigkeit des Patienten. Im Zusammenhang mit Diabetes mellitus können demnach folgende Komaformen unterschieden werden:

  • ketoazidotisches Koma,

  • hyperosmolares Koma,

  • Mischformen,

  • Laktazidose (biguanidinduziert),

  • hypoglykämisches Koma,

  • posthypoglykämisches Koma.
