Zusammenfassung
Die Transplantatabstoßungsreaktion stellt einen komplexen Prozeß dar und wird durch eine Vielfalt von Zellen (T-Zellen, B-Zellen, Makrophagen), Molekülen (HLA, Adhäsionsproteinen) und autokrinen Faktoren (Interleukine, Prostaglandine) vermittelt (5, 13, 25, 31). Kenntnis dieser immunologischen Elemente und Faktoren ist nötig, um die Immunbiologie der Abstoßungsreaktion zu verstehen. In diesem Kapitel werden kurz die immunologischen Grundlagen der gegen das Transplantat gerichteten Immunantwort besprochen, was zum Verständnis der verschiedenen klinischen Abstoßungsreaktionen führen soll. Die Struktur und Funktion der HLA-Moleküle wurde bereits im vorangegangenen Kapitel besprochen.
