Zusammenfassung

Unter Proctalgia fugax, bekannt auch unter den Synonyma anorektale Neuralgie, nervöse Rektalgie, Perinealneuralgie. Neuralgia pudendoanalis, paroxysmale Proktalgie, versteht man meist in unregelmäßigen, mit zunehmendem Alter größer werdenden Intervallen, stets unvermittelt auftretende krampfartige Schmerzen im anorektalen Bereich. Diese Schmerzattacken treten bevorzugt nachts auf (Proctalgia nocturna) und halten zwischen 30 Sekunden und 20 Minuten an, in seltenen Fällen aber auch länger.
