Zusammenfassung

Nach den Untersuchungen des Gehirns und des Spinalkanals hat sich die MRT des Haltungs- und Bewegungsapparates als drittes klinisch außerordentlich bedeutsames Indikationsgebiet etabliert. In verschiedenen Bereichen besteht bereits weitgehende Übereinstimmung hinsichtlich Indikation, Aussagekraft und Untersuchungstechnik. Dabei kommt die MRT meist in Fällen zur Anwendung, in denen durch die herkommlichen diagnostischen Verfahren keine definitive Abklarung möglich ist. Es entwickeln sich aber immer mehr Fragestellungen, bei denen die MRT frühzeitig zur Anwendung gelangt.
