Zusammenfassung

Eine Blockade der Nervenleitung kann durch eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher chemischer Substanzen und physikalischer Maßnahmen erreicht werden. Die Lokalanästhetika, die erwiesenermaßen klinisch brauchbar sind, teilen sich in 2 chemische Gruppen, nämlich in die Aminoester und in die Aminoamide (Abb. 1).
