Zusammenfassung
Durch Insulinmangel kann es zu einer dramatischen Stoffwechselentgleisung kommen — dem diabetischen Koma. Bei jüngeren Patienten tritt es meist in der Form eines ketoazidotischen Komas auf, bei älteren Patienten auch häufiger als nichtketoazidotisches Koma.
