Zusammenfassung

Unter der Pneumatosis coli, bekannt auch unter den Synonyma Pneumatosis cystoides, Pneumatosis intestini, Pneumatose, Lymphopneumatosis, Darmwandemphysem versteht man eine seltene, bevorzugt beim männlichen Geschlecht auftretende Erkrankung des Intestinaltraktes, die durch subserös, submukös oder in Lymphgängen lokalisierte bzw. mit spaltartigen Lymphgefäßen in Verbindung stehenden [3], mit dem Darmlumen jedoch nicht kommunizierenden, gashaltigen Zysten gekennzeichnet ist (s.Abb. 6.3).
