Zusammenfassung

Unter Proctalgia fugax, bekannt auch unter den Synonyma anorektale Neuralgie, Perinealneuralgie, Neuralgia pudendoanalis, paroxysmale Proktalgie versteht man meist in unregelmäßigen, mit zunehmendem Alter größer werdenden Intervallen, stets unvermittelt auftretende krampfartige Schmerzen im anorektalen Bereich. Diese Schmerzattacken treten bevorzugt nachts auf (Proctalgia nocturna) und halten zwischen 5 und 20 Minuten an, in seltenen Fällen aber auch länger.
