Zusammenfassung

Etwa die Hälfte aller enukleierten Augen weist Spuren mechanischer Traumen oder operativer Eingriffe auf (Naumann und Portwich, 1976). Die Differenzierung zwischen penetrierender bzw. perforierender und kontusioneller Verletzung erscheint aus klinischer und histopathologischer Sicht sinnvoll, wenngleich viele Kombinationen vorkommen.
