Testicular malignancies account for less than 1% of all cancers. They are observed at all ages but mainly between 15 and 35. The incidence is particularly high in undescended and ectopic testicles. Two per cent of all males have cryptorchid testicles and these have 33 times the normal risk of malignancy.
