Zusammenfassung

Bei den meisten Pflanzen sind Kohlenhydrate mit der allgemeinen Zusammensetzung [CH2O]n die mengenmäßig wichtigsten Substrate der Dissimilation. Der vollständige (aerobe) Abbau der Kohlenhydrate läßt sich formal als Umkehrung der Photosynthese von Glucose [→Gl. (57), S. 164] formulieren:
