Zusammenfassung

Schock ist definiert als Syndrom einer akuten Minderdurchblutung der vitalen Organe, wodurch ein Mißverhältnis zwischen Sauerstoffangebot und Sauerstoffbedarf entsteht und die aus dem Zellstoffwechsel anfallenden Metaboliten unzureichend abtransportiert werden können. Resultat dieser hämodynamischen Störung sind funktionelle und strukturelle Veränderungen der betroffenen Organe und Gewebe.
