Zusammenfassung
Noch immer wird vom „leeren Mark“ als einem Äquivalent der Knochenmarkinsuffizienz gesprochen. Den Inhalt dieser Leere aus der Sicht der klinischen Histopathologie vorzustellen, ist die Aufgabe einer Studio an 994 Fällen mit diesem Syndrom, das nachfolgend unter differentialdiagnostischen, pathogenetischen und prognostischen Gesichtspunkten betrachtet werden soll.
