Abstract

Osteogenic sarcoma is a tumour formed by the proliferation of sarcomatous cells giving rise to osteoid or bony tissue (figs. 25–28). This definition excludes any sarcomatous tumour accompanied by the formation of benign reactive osteoid or osseous tissue.
