Zusammenfassung

Der im DISCO-Projekt (Distributed Database System for Small Computers) verfolgte Ansatz sieht als Basis eines auf einem heterogenen Kleinrechnernetz zu installierenden verteilten Datenbanksystems ein verteiltes Dateiverwaltungssystem vor.

Dieser Beitrag entstand im Rahmen des Projekts DISCO, das teilweise mit Mitteln des Bundesministeriums für Forschung und Technologie (Kennzeichen DV 4908-081-5610) gefördert wird.
