Synthesis of Catecholamines in Different Organs of Rats with DOCA-Hypertension


In the hearts and spleens of DOCA- hypertensive rats the content and the rate of synthesis of noradrenaline from 14C-tyrosine was unchanged as compared to normal controls. In the adrenal medulla the content as well as the rate of synthesis of catecholamines was increased.
