Zusammenfassung
Wie das Schnittebenenverfahren von Kelley und Cheney/Goldstein be ruht die tangentielle Approximationsmethode von Hartley/Hocking [2. 1] auf dem Prinzip der linearen Approximation konvexer Bereiche. Während Kelley jedoch mit einer groben Näherung des zulässigen Bereiches startet und im Laufe des Algorithmus die Approximation verbessert, wird im vorliegenden Verfahren nur einmal, am Anfang, approximiert, dafür aber sehr gründlich.
