Abstract

The antral hormone gastrin has but a small depressant effect on the blood pressure of experimental animals, and it falls outside the group of powerful hypotensive agents with which this volume is mainly concerned. It is therefore hoped that our results with gastrin will be of interest despite their slight connection with the main theme of the symposium.
