Zusammenfassung
Vor fast 90 Jahren konnte der russische Chirurg Eck (1877) durch seine nach ihm benannte Fisteloperation den Nachweis erbringen, daß die nahezu komplette Umleitung des Pfortaderblutes um die Leber durch eine Gefäßanastomose zwischen Pfortader und V. cava mit dem Leben zu vereinbaren ist.
