Zusammenfassung

Bereits aus dem vorigen Jahrhundert liegen ausgezeichnete pathologischanatomische Berichte über Fälle von Ventrikelseptumdefekt (VSD) vor (Dalrymple 1847, v. Rokitansky 1875). Die erste klinische Beschreibung des VSD stammt von H. Roger aus dem Jahre 1879. Der Wert dieser Beschreibung hat sich durch spätere Untersuchungen Bestätigt, so daß heute noch die Bezeichnung «maladie de Roger» gebraucht wird.
